Obituary
Billy Ray Canipe, 88, of Lake Dallas, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 in Denton. He was born December 3, 1927 in Dallas to Roy Allen Canipe and Lucille Stayton Canipe. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He married Judy Buchanan and had retired from Mobil Oil Co.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Canipe, daughters, Lucinda Canipe of Denton, Valerie Blankenship, Dana Canipe, both of Georgia, step-daughter, Michele Snider of Saint Jo, grandchildren, Cari Beth Sinclair and Matt Story, nieces, Lisa Ingram and Jan Furtick, nephew, Steve Speights and several great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Billy Ray Canipe, Jr. and sister, Betty Jean Black.
Services will be held at a later date.
