Billy Allan Platt, 75, of Denton passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at his home. He was born on December 6, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to Homer and Effie Platt. Billy married Lorraine Schwartzkopff in Dallas, Texas in 1982. He also served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Billy is survived by his wife, Lorraine Platt, two daughters, Alisha Williford, Michelle Hargrove, two sons, Damien Platt, Joseph Williford, six grandchildren, one great grandson,  three sisters, five nieces, four nephew and many more love ones and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Homer and Effie Platt.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 15, 2017 at DeBerry Funeral Directors with interment following at Blue Mound Cemetery in Sanger.
