Birdie Delores Scruton went to our Heavenly Father on October 24, 2018. She was born on January 17, 1930 to Clyde L. Duncan and Emma Herd Duncan in Kerens, TX.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Ricks and son-in-law Murray Ricks as well as granddaughters Emma and Jean Marie Ricks all of Denton, a sister, Lelia Riddle of Commerce, TX and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends all in the North Texas area.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Major Don Scruton.

A special thanks to all of the Willow Bend Staff who took excellent care of her during her last year of life. Also, Donna Ricks who was always there with her sweet care, love and prayers.
