Bobby Joe Couch

Bobby Joe Couch, 77, of Denton, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in Denton. 

Bobby was born on March 11, 1949, in Ada, Oklahoma to Ethel Mae Couch. 

Bobby married Frances Lucille Morgan on November 5, 1977. From this union came two children, Holly and Samuel. Together, Bobby and Frances shared 48 years of marriage, watching their family and legacy grow with each year that passed. He enjoyed sharing smiles and laughter with his wife and his family. Each conversation, each valuable lesson shared, every story shared - now cherished memories that will be held in the hearts of those that love him greatly. 

Bobby was a hard worker, always providing for his family. When the work day was done, he enjoyed the simple things in life: a quiet day of fishing, a good book, or a puzzle to work through. 

Bobby is survived by his wife, Frances Lucille (Morgan) Couch; his daughter, Holly Renee (Couch) Tocquigny of Sanger, Texas; his son, Samuel Franklin Couch of McKinney, Texas; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his sisters, Laquita Tarr of Ada, Oklahoma and Linda Roberts of Sherman, Texas; extended family and a host of friends. 

Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Mae Couch; & one sister. 

A memorial service for Bobby will begin at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Willowwood Church of the Nazarene in Denton, Texas.
