Bobby Gene Smith "Bob" went to join our Heavenly Father on October 3, 2018 at 80 years of age.  He was born in Denton on November 10, 1937 to Robert Bob Smith and Loreta Sue Spraybary Smith.  He attended Denton Schools.  He married Joyce Forester on May 21, 1956 in Gainesville, Texas.

Bob was known by many for his work as a Paint contractor for almost 50 years.

Funeral Services will be on Friday October 12, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God with the Rev. Randy Snow officiating.  He will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joyce Forester Smith, son, Danny Smith as well as 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda and sons, Tommy and Robbie.
