Robert Wayne "Bobby" George passed away Saturday night, October 22, 2016.  He was born in Denton to Harold Lloyd George and Mary Margaret Lawson George.  He attended Denton Public Schools. He married Juanita Marie Worthy on December 17, 1965 here in Denton, she preceded him in death in 2011.  Bobby was a retired Lineman from the City of Denton Electric Department.

A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Rev. Randy Snow officiating.

Bobby is survived by daughters, Kim Lucero and spouse Carla of Denton, Amanda King and spouse Bob King of Aubrey and son Wayne George, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
