Bobby Ray Morris, 81 Of Denton passed away on March 21,2023. He was born in Denton Tx., to Charles and Ollie (Baker) Morris on December 20, 1941.

Bobby graduated from Krum High School where he met the love of his life. He married Sandra Kay Fowler on February 9, 1963, in Krum Tx and made their residence in Denton.
He was employed by Lonestar Gas before starting his career at the City of Denton. After 30 years with the city he retired to travel and enjoy the quiet life. Bobby loved going on short drives up 35 to the Casino or a night at home with the grandkids and a gallon of Blue Bell.
Bobby has never met a stranger and would talk to anyone who would make eye contact. He loved joking , laughing and being the life of the party. He would get a kick out of it when old friends would stop by to visit and catch him up on all the town gossip. He couldn't wait to share the news when the family came to make their nightly checks.
Bobby was a loving father and grandfather. He always made sure that people he loved knew it by having their milestones celebrated.

He is survived by his son, Randall Morris and wife Amanda "Mandy" Morris of Denton, Daughter, Teresa Morris and Adan Perez of Denton 7 Grandchildren Brittany and husband AJ, Tori, Aaron, Austin, Lori, Russell and Laci, 3 Great Grandchildren Landon, Lane, Jessie

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kay Morris, his parents Charles and Ollie.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Saturday March 25, 2023 at 2:00pm.
