Bobby Gene Morris left this earth and entered into Heaven on June the 23rd, 2026 at 2:30pm in Estero, Florida. He was born to Leonard L. Morris and Juanita Oliver/Morris in Denton, Texas on November 19th, 1937. He had one brother, Tommy Dean Morris (dec.) and one sister Linda Jo Morris/Knowles (dec.). 

He was married to Carla Smith on November the 24th, 1957. They had one son, Leonard Carl Morris and one daughter, Leah Camille Morris/Thurston. Two grandsons, Mitchell BlueJacket Suttles and Casey Chase Suttles. Two great granddaughters, Leah Jane & Evelyn Rose Suttles. 

Bob accepted the Lord as his savior as a child and attended Baptist Churches in Denton, Lewisville, California, and Florida. He was a member and deacon at Gospel Baptist Church in Bonita Springs, Florida. He worked as a truck driver, mechanic, welder, and concrete batch plant and heavy equipment operator in Texas and in California. He started his own company in Florida and California in 1983 called Rockscape International Incorporated creating artificial and natural rock-scapes, waterfalls, and water features in 1984 to 2020. He served as Fire Commissioner president of Chambers of Commerce and Historical Society and Estero. He loved fishing.

Funeral services for Bob will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
