Bobby Ray Perdue, 77 of Krum, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016. He was born June 12, 1939 in Addison Texas to Edgar Elmore Perdue and Eva Mae Dockins. He served in the US Army from May 9, 1962 until May 8, 1964. He married LuDene Jenkins December 7, 1963 in Olympia, WA.
Bobby was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was active in the Chisholm Trail Antique Farm Equipment Club. During his career at the Inland Container Corp in Carrollton he was a Printing Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, Shipping Supervisor and General Foreman.
He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He taught his family to value hard work. He was a great example of serving and loving others and will be missed by all.
Bobby is survived by two sons, Michael Ray Perdue of Krum, Daniel Lane Perdue of The Colony, sister, Patsy Sue Jacobs of Carrollton, and 10 Grandchildren.
Bobby was preceded in death by his wife LuDene Perdue, brother, Mack "Butch" Perdue, and daughter Michelle Perdue.
Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors 2025 West University, Denton on Friday September 9th from 6-8pm.
The funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 1801 Malone St, Denton TX on Saturday Sept 10 at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
