Bonnie Grubb Bell of Denton died in the home on August 4, 2022. She was born in Salisbury, North Carolina on May 22, 1959. She is the child of Coleman and Flora Jean Grubb and had two older brothers, Tim and David, and a younger sister Tracey Barrier. She was trained as a Registered Nurse at the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and worked mostly in the Nursery and Labor and Delivery. She has been married to the Reverend John E. Bell since September 30, 1995. They were foster parents to about 17 foster children during their time in North Carolina. Disabled and homebound with chronic pain for many years, she developed breast cancer in 2020. A funeral service will be held at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church on Thursday, August 18th at 1:00 p.m. Bishop Erik Gronberg of the North Texas North Louisianna Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America will be presiding.
