Obituary

Brandon Michael Sandmann, 38, of Valley View, TX passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

He was born on December 30, 1982, in Marysville, KS to Robert (Bob) and Deb Sandmann. He attended grade school in Beattie, KS. He spent the majority of his life helping on the family farm and spent time in high school playing the sport he loved, football. He graduated from Marysville High School in 2001. He went on to attend Manhattan Area Technical College where he graduated as a lineman in 2002. He worked as a contractor at Croft Electric from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, he moved to Texas where he began his career with CoServ Electric Co-Op. At his time there, he worked his way up to supervisor which was his current position. He was known for his dedication, leadership, and hard work ethic. He helped restore power during many hurricanes and natural disasters, most recently hurricane Ida in Louisiana. His line brothers at CoServ meant the world to him and he considered them family.

He met his wife Christina Speis in 2003 in St. Louis, Missouri. She traveled to Texas with him as he started his career with CoServ. The couple married September 3, 2011 and started their lives together. They resided in Krum, TX for 9 years and then recently moved to Valley View, Texas. In 2016 they welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Megan Marie Sandmann, who became the light of his life. They enjoyed jeeping, camping, the mountains of Colorado, traveling, and spending time with their family and friends. He was a loving son, brother, husband, and father. His legacy will always be remembered through his smile and little chuckle. He always put his family first and had a huge heart with helping others.
