Brelon Lee May, 60, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior on December 21, 2020 in Lake Dallas, Texas. His final wish was to pass in the house that he, his father, and brothers built on the very soil he played on as a child.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, October 14, 1960, he was the son of Argol and Vivian May.  He attended Lake Dallas High School and graduated in 1979.  While in high school he formed his own lathing and decking crew. He also worked for his father's company, May & Sons Custom Homes, until 1997 when he moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas. During his time in Arkansas, he was a successful framer.  He returned to Texas in 2013 to care for his father and the family's rental properties.

Brelon often said "our God is a God of second chances" and he clearly demonstrated this by freely serving others.  He was very proud of his Alcoholics Anonymous group, called "The High Nooners" and spent time volunteering in jails and prisons.  He felt that Sunday's were his day to give and he would do home repairs for anyone in need.  He never asked for payment, but would gladly accept pecan pie. Brelon will be remembered for his generous and caring heart.

He is preceded in death by his birth Mother, Vivian May, his first wife, Anita May, brothers, Glenn and Perry May.  He is survived by his father, Argol May of Lake Dallas, TX, stepmother, Margaret Pfister of Amelia, OH, brother, Edwin May (wife Kelly) of Shortsville, NY, sister, Connie Berry (husband Wendell) of Aubrey, TX, step brother, David Sams (wife Darla) of Penrose, NC, step brother Darren Sams (wife Cathy) of Highland Village, TX, step brother, Forrest Sams (wife Yuko) of Trenton, MI, sister-in-law, Nicole May, of Denton, TX.  He has several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Lake Dallas (307 South Lake Dallas Drive, Lake Dallas, TX 76065) starting at 11am.
