Bula "Boots" Blagg, 92, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born October 31, 1923 in Grapevine to Jim and Edna Corey Bryant Crowley. She married W. J. Blagg, Sr. on December 3, 1943 in Mobile, AL. He preceded her in death. She was a seamstress with Russell Newman and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Denton.
She enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching the Texas Rangers along with many years of watching her kids, grandkids and great grandkids in school sport activities. She accepted the Lord many years ago and talked to him every day. She was prepared and ready to meet her Lord Jesus Christ, her savior.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Friday, November 6, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gary McBee, Cody McBee, Skyler Blagg, Shane Blagg, David Crowley and Thomas Glen Crowley.
She is survived by her sons, W.J. Blagg, Jr. and wife Candy, Rodney Blagg and wife Tobye; brother, Gaylen Crowley; grandchildren, Sheri McBee, Shane Blagg, Crystal Perez, Skyler Blagg, Gracie Blagg, and Anthony Blagg; 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Kenneth Lee Blagg; sisters, Veta Scruggs and Lois Long; brothers, James Crowley and Jerald (J.B.) Crowley and grandson, Zack Blagg. She is also survived by many nieces, nephew and many friends.
