Burnett Flemmings passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. He was born in Omaha, Texas on February 21, 1940 to Roosevelt and Arilla Flemmings. Burnett retired from TWU and enjoyed  fishing in his free time.

A graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Denton at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 9, 2024.

Burnett is survived by his wife Loretta Flemmings and children   Retha L.Flemmings;Jeffrey B.Flemmings Florentino F.Flemmings and Melinda F. Flemmings along with many neices, nephews Brothers and one Sister AND Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren
