Calvin B. Peterson, 89, of Roanoke passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at his residence. He was born May 19, 1925 near Elizabethtown, Denton County, Texas to Omas Anthony and Margaret Elizabeth Francisco Peterson. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea following WW II. He married Mayna Lee Neeley on April 11, 1948 in Azle, Texas. She preceded him in death. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Roanoke, USDA Farm Service Agency, and Denton County Livestock Association.

Visitation will be Monday, April 13, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Elizabeth Cemetery in Roanoke.

He is survived by son; Anthony Lynn Peterson and wife Glenna of Parker; son-in-law, Max Judge of Justin; 4 grandchildren, Bradley Don Judge and wife Jessica of Justin, Erik Andrew Peterson and wife Valerie of Wylie, Jeffrey Brian Judge and wife Brooke of Haslet, Kevin Anthony Peterson and wife Michelle of Richardson and 7 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter, Calva Ann Judge, sister, Margaret Coleman, brothers, Howard, Clayton, Randolph and Conway Peterson.
