Carla Ann McGar Wilhoit passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024, in Denton, Texas. She was born in Denton to Carl and Suzanne McGar on October 29, 1961. Carla was a one of a kind woman and will forever be remembered for her sense of humor, unwavering friendship, fierce loyalty, and love for her daughter. She is preceded in death by her parents Suzanne and Carl McGar.

Carla was enjoying her retirement from Peterbilt where she worked for over 30 years. She enjoyed watching rodeos, classic car shows, listening to Willie, and most all her forever love, Sam Elliott.

Visitation and viewing will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

She is survived by her husband Kyle Llano, daughter Caitlin Wilhoit, her sister Sharon Wainscott, her sister, Martha Mears, along with many other friends and family.
