Carol Detherow went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2021. She was born to her parents Clarice and Luther Dick in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her sister Sharri May, her husband Everett Detherow of 58 years, and her son Cavin Detherow.

She resided in Krum and attended church at Friendship Church in Denton, TX where she was a faithful member for many years, teaching Sunday school, leading women's ministry in her younger years.

She is survived by her son: Graig Detherow; daughter: Sharri Detherow; grandchildren: Heather and Tyler Hunter, Christian and Ben Snadon, and Britiany Detherow; and greatgrandchildren: Benjamin and Addison Snadon, Natalie Hunter, and Dawson Glore.

A memorial service will be held at Jackson Cemetery, on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to the cancer, alzheimer's or dementia association of your choosing.
