Carol Sue Ramsey, 76, of Alvord, TX, peacefully passed away on June 1, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel "Red" Ramsey & Alice "Sue" Ramsey.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Cher Jones & spouse Tyler; son, Sean Roberson & spouse Amy; granddaughters, Megan Lilljidahl & spouse Brett, and Mikah Jones; her partner in life, Tommy Hagar; brothers, Randy Ramsey & wife Joelle, and David Ramsey & wife Cathy; along with many nieces and nephews.

Carol Sue Ramsey was born on November 6, 1945, in Travis County, TX.  She attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Science & Education.  She went on to teach Chemistry at Northwest High School in Justin, TX and held the position of Head of the Science Department.  She then spent 2 years as a volunteer in the U.S. Peace Corps, serving in Kiribati (an island country located in the central Pacific Ocean) alongside partner/volunteer, Tommy Hagar.

Carol will be remembered for her love for travel & exploring, seeking knowledge, and all things to do with the beauty of nature, plants, & gardening.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
