Carole Patricia Neumann, 78, of Denton passed away on October 19, 2017 in Denton, Texas. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 3, 1939 to Clifford and Grace (Taylor) Duffy.

Everyone who knew Carole cherished her warmth, her positive spirit, and perhaps most of all her willingness to always listen and provide comfort to those who came to her in distress. She used these attributes to their fullest as a mother and nurse (Elmbrook Memorial Hospital). Retiring in Texas to be close to her grandchildren, Carole was again sought after by her friends in the Robson Ranch community for her wise counsel, laughter, and her ability to embrace each day with a joyful spirit.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law's, Craig and Iva Neumann of Denton, Texas, Kurt and Barbra Neumann of Dripping Springs, Texas, brother, Dennis and Donna Duffy of Davenport, Florida. Grandchildren, Deanna Hilber and Christine Duffy of Wisconsin, Evan (Reno, NV) and Ethan (Denton) Neumann, and Zach, Tessa, Jordan, Hannah, Sophia, Aja, and Gianna Neumann of Dripping Springs, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and sisters, Joan Duffy and Charlene Zupan, and ex-spouse Roy Neumann.

A celebration of life will be held on October 28 in Robson Ranch, and also on November 15, 2017, 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Mausoleum (7301 W Nash St, Milwaukee, WI 53216). In lieu of flowers the family asks that individuals consider donations to St. Jude's in Carole's name.
