Carolyn Kay McGar Hogan passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025 in Denton, Texas at the age of 79. She was born in Dallas Texas, June 6, 1946 to James "Jim"  and Eula "Bobbie" Mc Gar.

Carolyn is proceeded in death by her husband JC Hogan And her parents Jim and Bobbie McGar.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 6PM to 8PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors 2025 W. University Dr.  Denton, Texas. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Wednesday also at DeBerry with interment to follow at Roselawn  Memorial Park.

Carolyn is survived by her fur babies  Alice and Rowdy of the home. Three daughters Kimbo and husband of Angleton, Texas, Kelle Jean Darr of Denton and Tonya and husband James Williams of Edmond, Oklahoma. One sister Cathey Tigert of Ponder, Texas and 1 brother Danny McGar of Denton. 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great grandchildren- 2 nephews and 1 niece, many cousins, church, family, and special friends.

Carolyn was an entrepreneur with an associate degree in accounting. She was a business owner and pastor alongside her husband JC for many years. Carolyn was the vice president of flame fellowship of Denton, President of the Krum historical society, and she spent many years in different roles with her children in their PTA.
Carolyn enjoyed shopping and going to lunch with her sister Cathey. She also enjoyed studying the word of God and attending the church where her husband JC Pastored.
