Carolyn Long, 69 of Denton, Texas went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 7, 2018. Carolyn was born October 17, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to Richard Encinia and Nell Bell. She married Jerry Long in Denton, Texas.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Jerry Long, daughter, Melissa Conn, step-son, Mark Long, sister, Gail Heard, brother, Daryl Clifton, grandchildren, Elizabeth McDaniel, Mikael Conn, William Conn and two great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and step-son, Michael Long.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 11, 2018 at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 5-7 P.M. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Gateway Baptist Church in Denton, Texas with John Robertson officiating.
