Carolyn H. Miller, 85, of Denton passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 in Denton.  She was born in Lewisburg, PA on November 6, 1931 to Desmond and Villa Frock Hallinan.  She married Walton Russell Miller on September 5, 1950.

She graduated from Lewisburg High School and attended Bucknell University. She was a member of the St. David of Wales Episcopal Church.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Cindy Knox (spouse Steve) of Denton, Sandra Strange of Denton, daughter in law, Sharon Miller of Sanger, brother Desmond James Hallinan of Alexandria LA, 8 grandchildren Amy Lentz, Wes Bryne, Zack Miller, Russell Chambers, Holly Pennington, Renee Powell, Stephen Knox, and Nicholas Miller, and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Walton Russell, son Jeffery Walton Miller, and grandson Chadwick Walton Miller.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. David of Wales Episcopal Church with Father Canon H.W. Hermann officiating on Friday, September 15th, at 11 A.M.

She will be placed with her husband in the church columbarium.
