Carroll Wayne Coffey, 86 of Aubrey, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. He was born on March 23, 1927 in Whitesboro, Texas to Andrew J. Coffey Sr. and Alice Coffey-Housouer. He married Ozella Giles in 1961 and was a 40 year member of the Rockhill Baptist Church before joining the First Baptist Church of Krugerville.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13th from 4 to 6:00 p.m., family and friends are welcome. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Rev. Chris Walden officiating, burial will follow at the Belew Cemetery in Aubrey.

Carroll is survived by his wife, Ozella; his nephews; Joseph Coffey, Bill Dewberry, Rick Barron; nieces; Shelia Jenkins, Sharon Coffey-Shirley, step daughters, Gwen Mays Amyx and Shirlene Mays Theobald; and several nieces and nephews and step grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Thurman Coffey, Jack Evans, and Andy Coffey Jr.; and sisters, Gladys Evans-Dewberry, Jane St. John, and Florene Coffey.
