Carroll passed away April 22, 2022 at his home in Krum, Texas. He was born April 7, 1952 to Wesley H. Sanders and Margarette B. Sanders, both deceased. Carroll was 70 years old, and was married to the Late Georgia Sanders.

Carroll had 5 brothers, Bobby, Larry, Jimmy and Thomas Sanders, all deceased, and Michael Sanders, of Gainesville, Texas, 2 sisters, Gale Jones of Gainesville, Texas and Teresa Hurt and her husband, of Krum, Texas and many, many, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Carroll loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family and friends. He worked hard most of his life as a ranch hand and in the oil field. Carroll was a loving, caring man that would give you the shirt off his back - that is, if he was wearing one.
