Catherine Elaine Haycraft, age 79, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020, in Denton, TX.  Catherine was born in Mobile, AL to William L. Ward and Ida Mae Ward (Milne). Catherine married Robert B Haycraft on November 18, 1960 in Mobile, Alabama.

Catherine was survived by her daughters, Christina Boydston of Aubrey, TX, Tracey Haycraft of Malakoff, TX, married to Robin, her son, Greg Haycraft of Denton, TX married to Amy. She had seven grandchildren: Ashley, Andrew, Samantha, James, Casey , Tiffany, and Krystal, and  9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, William L Ward, Mother, Ida Mae Ward, husband, Robert B Haycraft, and son-in-law, John L Boydston.

Catherine was a huge volunteer for the Sequim Lavender Festival, Sequim Visitor Information Center, and the Olympic National Park in Washington.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling.  She had a special interest in hummingbirds and blue bonnets.

Catherine was a very kind and caring individual, a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2020, at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
