Cathy Sue Fraze, 59, of Denton, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 after a brave fight with cancer. She was born on December 2, 1953 in Gainesville, Texas to George W. Hammer and Mary Nell Beasley. She married Johnny Glenn Fraze on March 18, 1973 in Lewisville. Cathy enjoyed reading, movies, traveling, and was an avid Texas Ranger Fan. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Preston.



The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 10:30 am in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Chaplain Carolyn Osoinach officiating.



Cathy is survived by her husband, Johnny; daughter, Sarah Fraze; son, John Fraze and wife, Elizabeth; grandson, Preston; sisters, Connie Smith, Carol Parks, Cindy Wheeler; brother, George Hammer; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
