She had a heart for people and a passion for her Students. To Catrina it was not just about teaching a child, it was about making sure every aspect of the child's life was ok. Many times she would take care packages to students' families during holiday breaks, because she didn't want her students hungry. Catrina was one of the best. She is loved by all her 3 rd and 4 th grade students. Teaching was more than just a job to her, it was her passion and She exceled at being teacher. Her love and passion for students is evident in many ways. Catrina's life will continue to impact the hearts and lives of generations to come.

Catrina, was intentional about the way she lived her life. She made moments count and was always ready to celebrate. Her wisdom and advise was given freely.  Catrina leaves behind a legacy; It will be up to each of us to do our part to help fulfill her legacy. Catrina would want each of us to set the bar high and reach for the stars, to go after life and your dreams with the same passion and excitement she had about life, to live every day without regrets of yesterday and to shop like there is no tomorrow!
