Obituary

Wayne Robinson of Forestburg passed away on April 21, 2025, with his family by his side.

Wayne was born on November 3, 1932, in Argyle, Texas to Clarence & Gladys Robinson. He attended school in Argyle & Denton. He left school after the 10th grade to join the Navy. He served from 1951 to 1954. He married Lena Fay Kennemer. Wayne worked at Bell Helicopter, retiring after 32 years. He also had a partnership in a honey business & raised cattle. He was always saying "I don't know how I had the time to push the time clock." After all was done, he loved to travel with his wife & family in their RV. He loved going to bluegrass festivals & cross the country.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Lena Fay Robinson; his sons, David Wayne Robinsons & his wife, Sylvia, Kenneth Dale Robinson & his wife, Lavonna; his sister, Maxine Evans; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family & many friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M., with Buddy Owens officiating. Wayne will be laid to rest at Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle, Texas immediately following the service.

Pallbearers will be Wayne's grandsons & one nephew.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Johnson, Roger Thompson, & John Heath.
