Chad Brinson Bilbrey, 45, of Arlington passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Medical Center of Arlington following a long illness. He was born July 16, 1971 in Brownwood, Texas to Gene Edward Bilbrey and Neva Lou Brinson Bilbrey.
Chad was a talented musician who lived his dream of playing and singing country music. From the time he was 18, Chad played and sang music professionally. He loved entertaining people and had many fans. In 2007 he won a Terry Award for Outstanding Male Vocalist in the Metroplex.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Chad on Saturday September 10, 2016 at 2 PM in the Theater at The Church on Rush Creek, 2350 SW Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, TX 76017.
Memorials in Chad's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
Chad is survived by his son Garrett Brinson Bilbrey of Arlington, his parents of Arlington, brother, Jay Bilbrey of Burleson, nieces, Carrie Bilbrey of Bedford, Miranda, Dana, and Melody Bilbrey of Burleson, uncle, Edd Beeker of Houston, cousins Kimberly and Aaron Street, Susan and Mike Vance and their children Cameron, Lainey, and Collin, all of Pearland. Chad is also survived by his loving companion Cheryl Buck of Sanger and lifelong family friend Joy Chamberlain of Brownwood. Chad is also survived by a large number of close friends.
Chad was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Gorman and Lizzie Brinson, aunts Janelle Brinson Beeker and Nannie Brinson, cousin Carrie Beeker, and paternal great-grandmother Mrs. C. H. (May) Bilbrey.
