Chad Woodford Hurst, 51 of Denton, Texas passed away at a local hospital on March 21, 2024. He was born on December 29, 1972 in Denton, Texas to Gary Lynn and Jennifer Kay Hurst.

Chad was your typical oldest brother; the pack leader. He always made sure to give his 3 younger brothers a hard time but he would always have their backs. He was the same in his friendships. Chad's passion was woodworking and carving. He also enjoyed working cattle with his friends.

Chad is survived by a son, Kasey Hurst of Denton, Texas, step daughter, Nichole Chenette of Midlothian, Texas, his mother, Jennifer Hurst of Denton, Texas; Three brothers Alan Hurst of Alvord, Texas, Brian Hurst of Itasca, Texas, Gary Hurst of Rosepine, Louisiana; and many nieces and nephews.

Chad is preceded in death by his father, Gary Hurst.

A Memorial Service will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors Chapel on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 2pm.
