Channing Richard Prothro, 64 of Krum passed away at his home in Krum, Texas on February 21, 2014.
Mr. Prothro was born February 16, 1950 in Kingsville, Texas to Mary Frances Prothro and Thomas Wesley Prothro.
Mr. Prothro attended Longview Schools, Kilgore Junior College and The University of North Texas. Mr. Prothro was a plumber and owned Prothro Plumbing and currently was a Computer Technician and owner of Pro-Tech Consulting.
Mr. Prothro is survived by his former spouse and friend, Dean Prothro of Denton, one daughter, Amber Wilcox, her husband Alan Wilcox of Aubrey, Texas. Three grandchildren, Aaron, Ashley and Taylor of Aubrey. Three Brothers, Dane Prothro and wife Sue of Longview, Texas, Kevin of New York, Travis and wife Beth of Frisco, Texas.
The family will receive friends at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 10:30 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Morgan, Sam Looper, Trae Ellis and Frankie Morgan.
