Charleen M. Creamer

Charleen was born in Marion County, Texas to Dallas and Ruby (Sharp) Morris. Charleen graduated from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, Texas. In 1958, she married James Loyd Creamer at the First Nazarene Church in Jefferson, and they enjoyed 49 years together.

Charleen worked at the Marion County Tax Collectors office while her husband served in the Korean War. She was a homemaker and raised her two boys, Greg and Lee, and then worked at North Texas Savings and Loan in Denton, Texas, and later at BB Boon Insurance in Linden, Texas. She loved her church, Southmont Baptist of Denton, Texas and was active in her Sunday School class where she had many close friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Loyd; parents, Dallas and Ruby (Sharp) Morris; her brother, Dallas Morris Jr.; her sister, Bobbie (Morris) Simmons and brother-in-law Jack; daughter-in-law Alicia (Hinesly) Creamer; and three nephews; Phil Simmons, Dallas Morris III, and Wayne Rich.

She is survived by her sister Norma (Morris) and spouse Buddy Rich; sister-in-law Gail (Grigsby) Morris; her son Greg and wife Heidi; her son Lee; five grandchildren: Heather, David and wife Isabella, Tyler and wife Alex, Karen and partner Austin, and Chandler; great-grandchild, James, and niece Jennifer (Rich) Campbell and spouse David.

Visitation will be at 9 AM and funeral service will be at 10 AM on Monday, July 13 at Southmont Baptist Church, Denton, Texas. Interment will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 14 at Bear Creek Cemetery, Linden, Texas.
