Charlene Francis Gresham, 85, of Denton passed away on December 27, 2017 in Denton. She was born on December 22, 1932 in Forestburg, Texas to George and Vera Volkman. She attended Forestburg schools and was a member of the Church of Christ in Krum. Charlene married M.D. Gresham in Fort Worth on July 22, 1950. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Vera Volkman and her brothers Raymond Valkman and Willie Wayne Volkman.

Visitation for Charlene is scheduled for Friday, December 29, 2017 from 6p.m. to 8p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Krum Church of Christ with Bill Mayes officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Jackson Cemetery in Krum. Pallbearers will be James Gresham, Randy Gresham, Steve Pennington, Rick Crider, Terry Crider and Phil Marlar.

Charlene is survived by her husband M.D. Gresham of Denton, daughter Sue Gresham of Denton, son Donald Keith Gresham and wife Janie of Forestburg, grandchildren Kristy Gresham, Kody Marlar and Matt Gresham, great-grandchildren Farren Hornbuckle, Keith Hornbuckle, Josh Swanson, Bryce Swanson, Ryan Marlar and Wyatt Marlar.
