Charles Clifford Dobbs of Valley View, Texas passed away on November 19, 2021, in Valley View. He was born in Alamo, Texas to Clifford and Ruth (Roundtree) Dobbs.

Charles was a Carpenter by trade for 59 years. At 79 years old, he was still working at his trade. He was baptized at 14 years old into The Church of The Firstborn. He loved to go to church, preach, and visit with the brethren.

He is survived by his wife, Neta Dobbs, daughters, Lisa Allen and husband David of Montgomery, Tx., Lori Hicks and husband Peter of Trophy Club, Tx., sons, Timothy Dobbs and wife Donna of Valley View, Tx., James Dobbs and wife Beth of Johnsons City, Tenn., sisters. Pauline Gunter, Darlene Schroeder, Linda Dobbs and Danette Crouch, brother, David Dobbs, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Dobbs, his mother and father, sisters, Shirley Free, Catherine Austin, Helen Porch, and Willetha Robertson and brother, Eddie Dobbs.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 22, 2021, from 5-7 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at The Church of the FirstBorn in Denton, Texas on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Valley View Cemetery.
