Obituary

Charles Edmond Foster, 77 of Denton passed away on October 18, 2024, at his home. He was born in Ft. Worth, Texas to Homer and Anne Wright. He was raised by his Stepfather Robert Wright.

Charlie was a great man. He proudly served his Country as a US Marine in Vietnam. Everybody that knew him enjoyed his dry humor.  He was kind, intelligent, and generous towards everyone. Charlie was a big family man. He took good care of me, his two Border Collies, Gracie and Alexxi, and our kitty Kissee. When we had the ranch, he loved driving around it, checking everything out, and doing a lot of fishing. He worked hard his entire life. All of us will really miss him.

Charles is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Foster, of Denton, stepdaughter, Leslie Reeves of Ft. Worth, sister, Gene Meador of Denton, nephews, Tim Meador of Kazakhstan, and Ted Meador of Denton, his nieces and nephews, Miles and Annie Meador of Denton.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.
