Charles Fredrick Kregel, 89, passed away on September 8, 2022 in Denton. He was born in Gainesville, Texas to Mark and Irene (Beckner) Kregel on July 13, 1933.

Charlie was a life-long Denton resident, a master craftsman, recreational golfer, and beloved "Dagan" to four grandsons.

He is survived by his wife, Patti, of Denton, daughter Leslie and husband Shannon Drawe of Denton, son Lane and wife Dawn of Denton, daughter Lou of Athens, Georgia, grandsons Taylor Kregel Hutchison, Mark Hutchison, Phillip Kregel, Michael Kregel and fiancée Kwan, and great-grandson Connor Lane Kregel.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, George and Mark Douglas.
