Charles Edward Perkins, 85, of Lewisville passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in Lewisville. He was born August 16, 1928 in Mart, TX to R.C. And Laura Powell Perkins. He served in the U.S. Navy

A funeral service will be Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. In the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Malin, TX.

He is survived by his son Robert Charles Perkins, Sr. of Denton, daughter-in-law, Ardis Rider and husband Jim; grandsons, PFC Robert C. Perkins, Jr. stationed in Germany, Mark E. Perkins and wife Senada, and Micah Ryan Perkins; great grandchildren, Elias Daniel Perkins and Rakela Mia Perkins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ruth Woltman Perkins and daughter, Kathleen Marie Perkins.
