Charles Joshua Swanson, 85, of Sanger, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. He was born on April 23, 1927 in Elsmore, KS to Ted Swanson and Margaret Swanson. He married Clara Swanson who has preceded him in death. He was retired from the United States Navy and retired from the United States Post Office.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 3-5 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 11:00 am at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Charles is survived by his son, Charles Swanson and wife Meshel; one grandchild, Daniel Roden; and very close friend, Sandra Roberts. He is preceded in death by his wife, Clara; and his parents.
