Obituary

Charles "Chuck" Eichelberger, 73, originally of Valparaiso, Indiana, now of Denton, Texas, passed away while strolling with his wife on a Navy Pier visiting family out of state on Friday, June 7, 2024.  He was born April 9, 1951, in Valparaiso, Indiana to the late Glenn and Norma Eichelberger.

He was a handyman by trade, he could fix any mess, With tools in hand, he'd always impress, His skills were unmatched, his talent clear, A craftsman of the highest tier. A husband, father and grandfather like no other, he'd spoil everyone rotten, With stories and treats, his love never forgotten, His presence brought joy, his laughter pure, In every memory, his love endures.

A memorial celebration will be held June 29th from 12:00-2:00pm in the Chapel of Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors, a repass will conclude at 117 Wilson Way, Denton Texas.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Eichelberger; step daughters, Tomarra and Latoya Lewis , 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and other beloved family members.

He was preceded in passing by his parents and Darius Lewis (step son).
