Charlie Jack Allen, 82, of Sanger, passed away on May 31, 2022. He was born in Denton County, Texas on November 8, 1939 to Jack and Mary (Burchett) Allen.
He was the oldest of four siblings, two sisters and one brother. After being drafted into the Army he served in Korea from 1963 to 1964. After coming home, he has done a variety of jobs from running a printing press at Moore's Business Forms, to doing maintenance work at for Denton School District. He was an excellent mechanic, a farmer, a horseman, a father and a loving husband. He was known for his generosity, kindness and ornery stubbornness. He loved the Lord and was loved in return.
He is survived by his son, Darren Allen and wife Michelle of Ponder, daughter, Teressa Alvarez of Denton, sister, Mary Miller of Sanger, brother, Mark Allen of Denton, and his grandchildren, Justin Allen, Jessica Allen and Kiersten Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Allen, his mother and father, and sister, Fredna Tipps.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, Texas with Rev. Randy Snow officiating.
