Charlie Mae Rollins, 88, quietly departed this life on November 18, 2016, to be with The Lord after a long endured illness. She was born Feb. 28, 1928 in a time of struggle during the Great Depression. Her early life taught her to appreciate the value of a smile, the beauty of a rose, a kind word with a stranger, and her love for the Lord and her family. Charlie Mae was one of the kindest people you could ever meet and she opened her heart and home to many over the years. She will be sorely missed by all the lives she touched.

Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew and loved her. She served The Lord faithfully, alongside her husband, at their Baptist church, and she dedicated her life to being a mother, wife, friend, and "Mamaw". She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Coy Lee Rollins; by her eldest son, Don Rollins; and by her sister, Nan Vines.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: daughter Sandra Butler and husband Bill; daughter Teresa Flaggert and husband Bill; son Mark Rollins and wife Carolyn. She will be loved forever by her grandchildren: Eric Butler and wife Abby; Whitney Holt and husband Wayne; Bill Morrissey and wife Natascha; Kristine Morrissey; Nick Hibler and wife Kelly; Brian Flaggert; Justin Rollins; and Halee Rollins. She also has 9 beautiful great grandchildren.

Our family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Maria, her selfless caretaker and friend, for the past 2 years of Charlie Mae's life.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 3-4 p.m. for visitation.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 21, 2016 in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors, burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton
