In Loving Memory of Christi Lynn Solis
Christi Lynn Solis, 47, of Denton, Texas, passed away on August 18, 2026.Christi was a one-of-a-kind soul—beautiful inside and out, although she never truly saw just how special she was. She had a style all her own, a creative and artistic spirit that could never be duplicated, and a personality that was impossible to forget.Christi had a unique sense of humor and a wit that could make anyone laugh. Her smile could light up a room, and she had a way of making people feel her presence the moment she walked in. She was stubborn, strong-willed, and determined, and when she believed in something, she stood firmly by it. She also had a special ability to convince just about anyone to do whatever she wanted—and somehow, you usually didn’t mind. Christi was loved by many and was very popular during her school years, forming friendships with all kinds of people. She had a way of connecting with others and leaving an impression that stayed with them. Above all else, Christi loved her children deeply. Her children were a tremendous part of her heart and her life, and the love she had for them was immeasurable. She is survived by her children, Chandler Lee Boyd, Nikki Jo Boyd, and Hudson; her grandchildren, Renley Lee Ann and Ryland Boyd; her parents, David Solis and Lisa Ann Bachman; and her siblings, Misty Jo Thompson, Melissa Bachman, Nick Retton, Sara Jaquay, and Teresa Maria Solis. Christi’s life may have ended, but her laughter, smile, stubborn spirit, creativity, and the memories she created with the people who loved her will live on. She was truly one of a kind. There will never be another Christi.“She never knew how beautiful she was, because she was too busy being herself. But those who loved her saw it—in her smile, her laughter, her wild and wonderful spirit, and the way she made an ordinary moment unforgettable. She may have left this world, but she will never leave our hearts. ”Rest peacefully, Christi. You were my sister, my best friend, and now, my guardian angel. Until we meet again, I will carry you with me every day.
