IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christopher Joel
Black
April 21, 1974 – May 3, 2022
Christopher Joel Black, 48, of Denton, TX passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. He was born in Fullerton, CA on April 21, 1974 to Timothy and Brenda Black. He would always say he got to Texas as fast as he could at the age of 7.
He married Belinda Stevens on May 17, 1997 at Central Baptist Church in Denton. He was employed at Tetra Pak as a forklift driver for 7 months. Before Tetra Pak he worked at Quality Industries for 9 years
Christopher loved his family more than anything, he enjoyed mowing yards for others, had up to 20 customers and riding four wheelers with his friends and family. Chris had the biggest heart; he would help anyone and give his shirt off his back. If he seen someone broke down on this side of the road he would stop and help. He was the kind of friend you wanted around.
A visitation will be held at the DeBerry Funeral Home on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM. Funeral services will take place at the DeBerry Funeral Director's chapel on Saturday, May 7, 2022 beginning at 2:00 PM. He will be interred at Roselawn Memorial Park following the service.
