Christopher Cole Carter passed away in his home on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023. He was born in Dallas, Texas on July 18, 1984 to Ron and Paula Carter. Chris's passion was being on the paintball field and mastering videogames of all kinds. He was known to say, "Let's go adventuring," and he enjoyed it all, whether it be hunting, longboarding with Gage and Gunner, or traveling and seeing the sights. He loved all dogs, and his Mia held a special place in his heart. But most of all, he loved to spend time at home with his family, binge watching movies and shows with Jennica, playing games with the boys, and blowing bubbles with June.

Chris reunited with his high school sweetheart, Jennica Haynie, in 2012. It was only fitting that on Leap Day, February 29th, 2020, they made it official, joking that they would only have to remember their anniversary every four years.

A memorial service for Chris is scheduled for Sunday, September 17th at 1 o' clock in the afternoon at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.

Chris is survived by his wife, Jennica Carter; his kids, Gage, Gunner, and June Carter; his parents, Ron and Paula Carter; his brothers, Shane Carter and his wife Courtney, and Jason Carter and his wife Adrian; his sister, Chance Howell; his nieces, Amber, Aslynn, Sage, Rhea, Blake, Elizabeth, and Brooke; and his nephew, Max; his maternal grandmother, Grace Crumbie; Aunts, Pat Standley, Peggy Simone, and Lynn Harris; Uncle, Bob Harris; cousins, Josh Harris, Alan Standley, Tyler and Rachel Simone.

Preceded in death by his nephew, Raymond Howell Jr. Maternal Grandfather Earl Crumbie; paternal grandparents, Joe and Zelma Carter; and Aunt, Pam Crumbie.
