Obituary
Christopher P. McKenzie, 53, of Denton passed away suddenly Friday morning, August 10th in south Texas.
Chris is survived by his mother and stepfather, Alice and J.R. Hooten of Denton, father and stepmother Don and Karla McKenzie of Prosper, daughter Brittany and husband Greg Hammel of Little Elm, granddaughter, Parker Hammel, sisters, Leslie Lee of Denton, Jennifer McKenzie of Irving and Julie Patterson of Fort Worth, half brother, Dr.'s Marc and wife Aine McKenzie of Plano and Scott and wife Lesly McKenzie of Arlington as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating Chris' life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Deacon Barry Sweeded officiating.
