On Friday June 28, 2024, Cindy Monson Dunn went to be with the Lord. She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene (Gene) Monson and Barbara Joan (Elder) Monson. She is survived by her husband Clifford Dunn of 30 years, her children Amy (Matt) Payne and Keith (Melissa) Higgs, and her step children Jeff (Andee) Dunn and Heather (Mark) Faron. Her grand children Taelon, Hunter, Logan, Chase, Samantha, Lucy, Savanna, Jack, Callie, Kaydence and her great grandson Aiden.

Cindy was born on April 30, 1954 in Denton. She attended Denton High School in 1973. Cindy and Clifford have known each other since high school and later married on June 17, 1994. She was a homemaker and she loved the Lord. She owned a local dog grooming company "Doggie Do's Grooming" and ran it out of the shop on their property in Denton for 15 years.

Spending time with her family was her favorite thing to do. She enjoyed watching tv and being at home with her dogs.

Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 5:00 P.m. to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, July 1, 2024. Graveside services are scheduled for 9:30 A.M., Tuesday at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
