Obituary
Clara Belle Mitchell, 82 of New Orleans LA, formerly of Denton, passed away peacefully Monday morning at the Covenant Home in New Orleans, LA. She went to rejoin her late husband of 50 years, Charles James Mitchell, who preceded her in death in November of 2002. She was born in Lockbourne, OH on December 18, 1931 to William Weik and Blondina Zitzke Weik She was a member of the Cooper Creek Baptist Church in Denton.
The family and friends will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon for visitation. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 noon and will be followed by a Graveside Service at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her daughter Mary Butler, son-in-law Lee Butler, grandson Connor Butler of New Orleans LA, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to Cooper Creek Baptist Church or American Heart Association.
