Clarence "Cal" Patton, 60 years old, of Aubrey, TX passed away unexpectedly Saturday night at the Denton Regional Medical Center. Born Feb. 7, 1955 in Wichita Falls, he was the son of Marvin Clarence Patton and Angelina Carminati Patton. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and attended Richland College and Midwestern University. He worked in graphic arts.
Cal, affectionately known as Bubba, was an avid Dallas Cowboys, Texas Long Horns, Notre Dame and NASCAR fan. His hobbies were playing guitar, gardening and spending time with his beloved dogs, Hercules and Bear.
Cal is survived by his wife of 31 years, Maria Bailey Patton of Aubrey, TX, and son, Staff Sgt. Eric Patton, a paratrooper with the 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the United States Army, currently stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. Also left to cherish his memory are his sister, Karen Pinciaro of New Springfield, OH and a large extended family.
The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors Thursday night from 6 to 8:00 p.m. for visitation. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 2255 N. Bonnie Brae St, Denton, TX with graveside services to follow at the Montague Catholic Cemetery, Carminati Rd., Montague TX.
