Obituary
Claude Ray Harbin, 66 of Denton, passed away at home on August 10, 2015. Ray was born in Uvalde, Texas on December 13, 1948 to Robert and Mary (Hoisington) Harbin.
Ray was a 1968 graduate of Denton High School and married Susan Jane Barker in Denton on January 8, 1970, and worked as a Mechanical Assembler for Texas Instruments.
Ray is survived by his wife, Susan Harbin, daughters, Kathy Shilling and husband Terry and Claudia Harbin, both of Denton, sisters, Janet Tate of Stephenville, TX., Edna McBride of Denton, Frances Bland of Whitesboro, TX., and Shirley Decker of Mineral Wells, TX., four grandchildren, Zackary Shilling, Kaitlynn Shilling, Emma-Rae Shilling and Brittani Shilling-Rita of Phoenix, AZ. Great grandchildren are Chevy-Luv and Brooklyn Rita of Phoenix, AZ.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father and sister, Irene Monsey.
The family will receive friends in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 10-11 AM., with services following at 11:00 AM in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Interment will be at Justin Cemetery in Justin, Texas. Pallbearers will be Zackary Shilling, Jason McBride, Randy Stewart, Aaron Foust, Matthew Benefield, and Steve McCoy.
