Claudia Thelma Bruce, 101, of Aubrey, Texas went to be with the Lord on September 25, 2018 in Corinth, Texas. She was born on October 25, 1916 in Sanger, Texas to Claude Nelson and Dora Frances (Teel) Jones. Claudia Thelma married Walter Cecil Bruce on June 29, 1932 in Durant, OK.

Claudia is survived by her sons, Donald Lee Bruce and Dale Ray Bruce both of Aubrey, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her sons, Jimmy Doyle Bruce and Willie Cecil (Buddy) Bruce, husband, Walter Cecil Bruce, parents, Claude and Dora Jones, sisters, Nannie Bee Jones, Lelia Jeanette Jones, Betty Francis Jones Wall, Billie Jo Jones Kimball and brother, J.W. (Bud) Jones. She is preceded also in death by five half-sisters, Mary Lee, Emily Flossie, Lula May, Nettie Florence, Dorothy Boyle and Loraine Boyle and two half-brothers, Herman Boyle and Robert Nelson Jones.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. following visitation both will be held at the First Baptist Church of Krugerville, Texas. Interment will follow at Belew Cemetery, Aubrey, Texas.
